A little bit about myself – I love the Gym! but more importantly, I LOVE FOOD (and cooking)! As we all know, these two go hand-in-hand to achieve the best results; regardless of what the initial goal is. I didn’t start at the gym last week, or last month, but in February 2008, while in high school, and have been ever so dedicated!
My Journey didn’t truly begin till 2013, while at university, where I worked out twice a day, 5 times a week, played rugby during the week and on weekends. I also started “Eating Clean”, and my strength and physique immediately benefitted. In comparison to the previous years, I was not only leaner, but stronger! Only then did I begin to appreciate and understand the importance and benefits of a healthy eating lifestyle and the significant role it plays in keeping fit – Hence, I haven’t looked back since!
Admittedly, that was at university, and I had much more time on my hands. Since then, the new challenge faced was fitting this healthy lifestyle amidst a busy professional life; and that is where Meal Prepping comes in! I have been able to master this, allowing me to fit in my other weekly activities, and setting me on a good trajectory to achieving my set goals!
Meal Prepping, is the process of planning and preparing meals. This may occur among people who are looking to lose weight, maintain a healthy lifestyle or gain weight
The aim of this platform, thus is to provide you (the reader) with meal ideas, tips, and plans for your own meal prepping activities, as you embark or continue on your fitness journey towards your desired goals.
